It’s a Girl for Faf de Klerk!

Springbok player Faf de Klerk and his wife, Miné, have welcomed their first child together.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, 6 March, the couple jointly posted black-and-white photos: the first pic shows Miné heading to the operating room at Rosepark Hospital in Bloemfontein, Free State to give birth.

The second pic shows the little one – a baby girl named Remi-Ré – cradled in her mother’s arms shortly after her birth. Finally, the last pic shows her wearing a onesie while her father takes his turn to hold her.

In the caption, the De Klerks confirmed that they welcomed Remi-Ré on 27 February. She was born at 37 weeks and four days, weighing 2.85kgs and measuring 48cm-long.

This is the first child for the 32-year-old scrum-half, who got engaged to Miné in May 2022 and married her five months later at La Paris Estate in Franschhoek, Western Cape.

Congrats to the happy couple on the newest addition to their family!
